Meet Simone M, our Certified Veterinary Technician, andHospital Manager. Simone has worked at Frontier since November 2015.

In your words, what is your job at Frontier?
As Hospital Manager at Frontier Veterinary Hospital, I oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, helping ensure that every client and patient receives compassionate, high-quality care. My role is to support our doctors and paraprofessional staff by creating an efficient, collaborative environment where they can focus on providing exceptional medicine. I am passionate about building strong teams, enhancing the client experience, and making sure both pets and the people who love them feel welcomed, supported, and cared for every step of their journey.

I also am a Certified Veterinary Technician, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for your pets throughout every stage of their visit. I perform a variety of outpatient procedures, including blood collection, urine sampling, bandage changes, vaccine administration, wound care, and other medical treatments. I also play an integral role in our inpatient and surgical services by assisting our veterinarians with patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, surgical support, recovery, and professional dental cleaning and oral health assessments. My goal is to help ensure every pet receives safe, gentle, and attentive care while making each visit as comfortable as possible for both pets and their families.

Why did you decide to work at Frontier?
I actually started my journey at Frontier as a client! After seeing firsthand the compassion and quality of care the team provided, I completed my job shadowing here for veterinary technician school and later returned for my internship rotation. During that time, I fell in love with the culture, the amazing doctors and staff, and Frontier's commitment to both pets and the people who love them. Choosing to build my career here was an easy decision, and I feel grateful to be part of a team that truly feels like family.

Do you have any pets?
I have a Rottweiler named Draco.

Tell us a little-known fact about you!
I’m from SoCal, so I love surfing, skateboarding, and lying on the beach soaking up the rays. I also love horseback riding, but these days, I don’t get to do it as often as I would like to. Though a bit rusty, I speak Spanish. I’m Italian and come from a big family, so I love family events, friends, and good food.
